Charlie Pettit (Lead Guitar) - Charlie started playing guitar in 1974. His parents bought him his first Fender Stratocaster in 1976 for his graduation present. He played in various rock and classic rock bands from the Buffalo area such as Spektra, Dancer, Bad Detective and The Lone Cowboys.
In 1986 he started playing in several Christian groups including The Revelation Project and Turnaround as well as the worship teams at the Calvary Tabernacle AOG Church in Medina and Albion Free Methodist before moving to the Rochester, Southern Tier area in 2004. When he came to the Sonyea area Charlie helped form and played lead guitar in classic rock bands; Glass Heart and most recently, Broadkast. A few years ago Charlie turned to country music when he teamed with Kenny Riber in Prairie Reign, later known as Cold Steel as their lead guitarist . Charlie was contacted by DoubleCross to fill in, in February 2011 and later they contacted him with the invitation to become their full time lead guitarist. You will usually see him with a few of his favorite guitars on stage. Even though his early background is rock he is having a great time playing with the members of DoubleCross.
